My workshops are a natural extension of my life as an anthropologist and a lifelong traveler. I invite guests into the kinds of places, cultures, and encounters I know deeply—far from the obvious routes and well beyond the expected. Nothing is staged, nothing is formulaic, and nothing is designed to imitate the same images everyone else comes home with. What we experience is rare, intimate, and genuinely off the beaten path.
These journeys are also deeply personal to me. They reflect not only how I travel, but how I was raised to move through the world. Travel has always been part of my lineage. My father was a distinguished cultural anthropologist and field ethnographer, and I grew up in a home shaped by curiosity, intellect, hospitality, and grace. That upbringing continues to define the way I host, guide, and create experiences for others.
